One of the most requested features for our SB Lite product was to have the ability to deal properly with form submissions. Since both HTML Builder and SiteBuilder Lite contain blocks with forms, a great number of buyers were expecting, and rightfully so, that those products would be able to somehow process form submissions. Eventually, we ended up bundling our Sent API with SiteBuilder Lite, however we never properly integrated the two. That is, until SB Pro / Pagestead.

With SB Pro / Pagestead, it is now possible for end-users to have form submission data emailed to a specified email address.

At this point, the end-user can only specify the email address to send the form data and a custom confirmation message. Several extra features are available by adding hidden INPUT elements to forms. By adding these fields, the user can control things like theĀ email subject, reply-to address, redirection after sending the email, spam detection and more. A more detailed description of the available features can be found in our knowledge base.

Users can also choose to not send form data by email, but instead specify a custom end-point to submit the form data to.
