Let me start off with offering an apology for being a day late with the v1.0.1 update (although it is still technically Monday in some parts of the world). We did promise to push out releases on Monday, however we ran into some difficulties with our auto-update feature yesterday. This ended up costing us quite a lot of time and in the end, we were forced to side-step the auto-update process entirely for the v1.0.1 update (this update has to be installed manually). We’re sorry for this and are hopeful we’ll have these issues solved before the next update.
That said; let’s discuss the v1.0.1 update briefly. This update contains mostly bug fixes. This being the first update after the public release, it was to be expected we’d be dealing mostly with bugs; and so we did! In addition to fixing a whole bunch of bugs, we did implement two features albeit small ones: using logos inside navigation bars and lazy loading for the image library section (the one accessible from the main navigation bar- the library inside the page builder- already used lazy loading before this update). For the entire changelog for v1.0.1, please have a look at our changelog page.
Plans for v1.0.2
We currently have the following items scheduled for the v1.0.2 update. Please note that we’re not promising or guaranteeing these will make it into the next update. This list is just to share what we’re working on:
- PayPal integration
- New rich text editor
- Improvements to the sidebar / style editor panels
