As you are all aware, the official release date of SB Pro / Pagestead is set to the 30th of April, so a little less than two weeks away. Even though we have made tons of progress working towards a version we’re comfortable releasing to the public. We have decided on the following release schedule/plan: on the 30th of April, we will do a closed beta release to our pre-order customers only. What this means is we’ll issue a copy of the software to each of our pre-order customers (who will not yet be charged for this release) with a “limited use” license (likely for 30 days or so). This will allow our pre-order customers to get their hands on the software and start using it.┬áIn turn, this will likely bring to light some additional issues we’d want to iron out before the public release. After some additional time (how much exactly we can’t say at this point), we’ll release the software to the public. This will also be the point where we would charge our pre-order customers. We’re hoping this will be towards the end of May, however we’ll make further announcements regarding the exact date in the near future. In addition, we’ll also be launching a live demo environment in the near future, where the public can preview and test the software in a controlled environment.

To summarize; we’ll do a closed beta release to our pre-order customers on the 30th of April. The pre-order customers will not be charged at this point. They will have the chance to test the software and give their feedback. X weeks after the closed beta release, we’ll do the public release for which we’ll announce the exact date in the near future.
